COCKTAIL PARTY PLANNING
How Much is Enough?
You don't want to run out of anything, but you don't want to be stuck with 6 bottles of cinnamon schnapps either. Hopefully Squirrely’s little guide will help you out when planning your party.
Plan for each guest to have 4 drinks over the course of an evening. The four drinks might be wine, beer, liquor or a non-alcoholic beverage. To plan the right amount of drinks use this formula.
Liquor
2 - 3 bottles of Vodka (We recommend at least 2 1.75 liter)
2 bottles Whiskey (Jack Daniels, a good Bourbon and either Irish or Canadian)
1 - 2 bottles Scotch
2 bottles Rum (1 light, 1 dark)
2 bottles Tequila
1 bottle Gin
1 bottle Brandy or Cognac
2 bottles Vermouth (1 Sweet, 1 Dry)
Wine & Beer
6 bottles Red
4 bottles White
3 - 4 Cases of Assorted Beer (Lagers, Pilsners, Ales)
Mixers & Non Alcoholic Drinks
1 - 12 liter case of sparkling water
1 case bottled still water
4 liters tonic water
6 liters Coca Cola or a case of cans
2 liters Sprite or 7up
3-4 bottles fresh OJ
2 bottles cranberry (you can get small cans as well)
2 bottles grapefruit (you can get small cans as well)
1 Quart Cream
Coffee (have enough to make at least 6 full pots)
Supplies
Ice - at least 1lb. per guest (this is the most important of all!)
1 dozen Limes
1 dozen Lemons
Martini Olives
Marachino Cherries
Cocktail Onions
Stir Sticks or Straws
Shot Glasses and Drink Shakers for mixing cocktails
Glassware - have at least 3 per guest. Have mix of sizes and drink types)
